Need for Healthcare Workers to Spike Through 2020

Posted on: August 18, 2012

A recent study at Georgetown University has concluded that the survival of the Affordable Care Act (“Obamacare”) means that demand for healthcare workers will spike through 2020. In fact, they predict that the U.S. will require 5.6 million healthcare workers in the next 8 years.

About 80% of those jobs, they say, will require some sort of specialized training or education, like that offered at Everest. Now could be the perfect time to start training for your next career. Everest offers quick, hands-on programs for:

  • Dental Assistant
  • Medical Assistant
  • Pharmacy Technician
  • Massage Therapy
  • Medical Insurance Billing and Coding
  • And more

With the right training, you could be well-prepared for a great career now, and in the future. Contact Everest today and learn more about the programs offered, campus locations and class start dates.
